Level: 32   Blinds: 300,000 / 600,000   Ante: 600,000

Cheers of "LA LA LA LA LA LA!" erupted throughout the room as the huge fan favorite and Texas Card House ambassador La Sengphet busted second place finisher Austin Heddin. Heddin shoved for nine big blinds with J5o and Sengphet called with 8d4d. A flop of 4d3h6d was another big sweat with possibilities for both players. The turn was the 6h for no help, but the river Jd gave Sengphet a flush and a huge victory.

Heddin will get $71,890 for second place after playing his heart out all night, while Sengphet earns $102,520 and the stunning Poker Atlas trophy for the victory. A dozen hugs later La was still smiling and laughing. Winning never gets old, even for a player like La who has a string of victories going back years. Congratulations to La Sengphet, Austin Heddin, and all of our players here at Texas Card House in Dallas. The Dallas Duel III is over and we look forward to running another next year!

Level: 31   Blinds: 250,000 / 500,000   Ante: 500,000

Local favorite Dusti Smith's incredible run is over. After busting multiple players at the final table the predator became the prey when she shoved for thirteen big blinds from the small blind with Kd3d and was called by Austin Heddin with AcQc in the big blind. Two clubs and a king on the flop made for a sweat for both players but the third club on the turn put Smith way behind. The river was no help and Smith is out in 3rd place. She earns $46,340 for her efforts, adding to an incredible year that now totals more than $450,000 in tournament winnings!

Aug 25, 2025 10:20 PM
Level: 30   Blinds: 200,000 / 400,000   Ante: 400,000

Kevin 'Bruddah' Nguyen has become Dusti Smith's next victim, after shoving with 89o and getting a call from QJ. A QJ flop gave him a chance but hte runout couldn't bring home the straight and Dusti increases her already giant stack. Nguyen will receive $34,280 for 4th place.

Aug 25, 2025 10:00 PM
Level: 29   Blinds: 150,000 / 300,000   Ante: 300,000

Paul 'Gator' Tassone, who had the biggest cheering section in the livestream chat, is out in 5th place for $26,140. Tassone shoved eight big blinds with AJo from the button and was called by La Sengphet with QcTc in the big blind. The flop was three clubs and Gator was drawing dead.

Aug 25, 2025 09:20 PM
Level: 26   Blinds: 125,000 / 250,000   Ante: 250,000

James Ingles shoved AK for eight big blinds from the button, and with his perceived range fairly wide because of his short stack, La Sengphet called from the big blind with QcTc. The river gave Sengphet a flush and Ingles, the most accomplished player at the table, was headed for the rail and 6th place. Ingles earns $20,730 for his efforts.

Aug 25, 2025 09:00 PM
Level: 28   Blinds: 125,000 / 250,000   Ante: 250,000

Gerald Wilson and James Misenheimer are out in quick succession. Wilson moved all-in with K4 and Misenheimer called the short stack with 68o. Wilson earns $13,650 and Misenheimer leaves with $17,160.

Wilson was crippled after getting all-in with A9 against the AK of Paul 'Gator' Tassone and was left in the big blind and all-in on the next hand with K5o. Action folded around to Misenheimer who shoved from the button with 86o wfor four big blinds. Austin Heddin called from the small blind with QJo and the cards were tabled. A jack-high runout gave Heddin the double knock out and the table was down to six-handed.

Level: 26   Blinds: 75,000 / 150,000   Ante: 150,000

Andrew Sharp is our 9th place finisher. Sharp shoved with AJ and La Sengphet called with JJ. A jack on the flop wasn't good enough to save Sharp, who receives $10,250 for a solid payday.

Players And Chip Stacks

Seat 1 - Paul Tassone - 1,675,000

With $46,154 in lifetime winnings, Paul Tassone of Lake Dallas, Texas, is no stranger to a final table, but this could be his biggest cash ever. Tassone comes in with a short stack, but seventeen big blinds can turn into a monster stack in no time!

Seat 2 - Kevin Nguyen - 5,750,000

Our fourth place stack, Kevin Nguyen has over $30,000 in tournament winnings, but that number could quadruple if he wins this one! This will be the first cash in the Dallas area for Nguyen who lives in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Seat 3 - Dusti Smith - 3,800,000

Dusti Smith, from Dallas, Texas, is having an amazing year. With over $400,000 of her $1,127,528 in lifetime winnings coming in 2025. Smith travels to play tournaments, but is well known in the tournament scene here in Dallas. This summer Smith took 2nd place in a WSOP bracelet event and, without taking a day off to celebrate, entered the ladies high roller event at the Wynn, taking down the trophy three days later. Smith and her 3.8 million will be making waves at this final table.

Seat 4 - Jared Ingles - 2,425,000

The most accomplished player at the final table, Jared Ingles has been a well known pro for years and has amassed $2,426,597 in lifetime tournament cashes, including a win in the WSOP Circuit main event in Choctaw for over $300,000 and a deep run the WSOP main event all the way back in 2010. A native of Dry Prong, Louisiana, Ingles started playing online and recorded his first live cash in 2008.

Seat 5 - James Misenheimer - 3,725,000

James Misenheimer, from Benton, Louisiana, has well over a hundred thousand in lifetime tournament winnings, with cashes all over the south including Vegas, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Seat 6 - Austin Heddin - 9,925,000

Austin Heddin, from Canton, Texas, has $111,165 in lifetime tournament winnings, including two wins here at Texas Card House already this year. Hidden also took fourth in a PokerAtlas tour event two years ago here but this could be his biggest score yet. After bagging the chip lead in his flight on day 1, Heddin maintained the chip lead for most of day two and goes into the final table with the chip lead and nearly ten million in chips, more than 20% of the total chips in play.

Seat 7 - Gerald Wilson - 9,100,000

Gerald Wilson, from San Antonio, Texas, is looking to improve on his best tournament score, a win of nearly $18,000 in April of this year here in Dallas. Tequila shots and monster hands yesterday helped him bag over nine million for a solid second place stack.

Seat 8 - Andrew Sharp - 3,750,000

Andrew Sharp only has one lifetime tournament cash, but he's not lacking in confidence. With his brother Bryan at his side he kept grinding all day long during day two, talking strategy on breaks and coming back ready to attack at every opportunity. A native of Chandler, Arizona, Sharp has already doubled his lifetime tournament winnings by making the final table and it's all gravy from here!

Seat 9 - La Sengphet - 7,800,000

Local favorite, and TCH ambassador, La Sengphet, has a very healthy stack of almost eight million and a massive cheering section on social media hoping to see the Plano, Texas native increase her lifetime winnings of over 1.3 million. Sengphet has some impressive finishes, including a fourth place finish in the WSOP National Championship event and winning the grand opening tournament at the TCH location in Las Colinas. Sengphet is having an amazing year and this will be her twenty-first cash of 2025.
