Event 16 of the PokerAtlas Tour, the $400 Mixed Omaha 8 or Better tournament, drew a strong field and showcased plenty of split-pot drama. When the final hand was dealt, it was Daniel Piontkowski who emerged victorious, claiming the trophy and the top prize of $4,410.
Piontkowski outlasted a tough final table that included runner-up Joe Firova, who earned $4,300 in an incredibly close finish. The top five payouts were as follows:

1st – Daniel Piontkowski: $4,410
2nd – Joe Firova: $4,300
3rd – Arturo Chapa: $1,980
4th – Luke Cullina: $1,450
5th – Thomas Robertson: $1,060
The near-even split between first and second highlights just how competitive the final stretch was. With his win, Piontkowski adds his name to the growing list of champions in this year’s series, while the other finalists also secured solid results in one of the most technically demanding formats on the schedule.
