Event Summary/Recap
The $200 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot drew 114 entries and generated a $42,900 prize pool, but all eyes were on the final table rail where about 15 spectators gathered. Some were there to support friends still in contention, while others simply came to watch the action unfold.
From start to finish, Yao – who prefers to go by his last name – maintained a commanding presence at the table. He held the chip lead, or was close to it, for nearly the entire final table. His steady play and control of the game ultimately carried him to victory.
Yao earned the top prize of $10,450 and claimed his second PokerAtlas trophy. He previously won his first in the 2024 $500 NLH Dallas Duel II, and this latest victory further establishes his reputation on the tour.
