After a back and forth battle, which lasted almost an hour, both Sid Naeimi and Thuy Nguyen decided to split first and second place with an even chop. With the chop, each took home a whopping $18,795. What happens to the coveted PokerAtlas trophy? Well, in this case they did a chip count to determine the winner. And the outcome was Sid winning the trophy and title of 1st place by exactly 1 chip!
