J.D. came into the final table third in chips but found himself as one of the shorter stacks after the first few eliminations. He spun his stack up and into heads up play with Eli Katzman.
The $36,480 heads up match ended in a single hand. J.D.’s red kings stacked off with Katzman’s nines and secured J.D. the victory and 37.5 points for the $25,000 added Player of the Series promotion! J.D. also wins a $2,200 seat to the PokerAtlas Tour Championship Title Event at the Venetian in December.
