Two big hands before the break…both provided directly from Jonathan Dull AKA: JD. This post is slightly edited, but no major changes have been made to the text sent to me (the anonymous poster AKA Sharon Goldman):
Hand 1
- Middle position opens 2.5k
- Hijack calls
- I (JD) call on the button 8s9s
- BB calls
Flop T76dd. Original raiser bets 4.5k. Hijack folds and I call. BB folds.
Heads up to the turn which is 3h. He bets 8.5k I call.
River 5s. He jams 23k I obviously call.
Note from the poster: No hand was provided for all in raiser but with JD's straight - it really doesn't matter.
Hand 2 (and just before the break)
- Middle position makes it 2.6k
- I (yup, still JD) flat call two to his left w/ KK
- Sb (the only player who has me covered and might be overall chipleader with 200k+) makes it 12k
- Original raiser flats 12k
- I just go all in for 106k
- Sb tanks forever and folds
- Original raiser calls me with his ~50k stack with QQ
Board comes out Axxxx and we hold. Sb apparently showed his cards to the guy next to him and after the hand ended they all said he folded JJ.
From the poster:
JD now has 176k - not a bad stack going into level 10. JD comes directly from our last series at TCH Social Austin. He won over $100k - outlasted 468 other players - and grabbed the PokerAtlas Title trophy (and a seat into the PokerAtlas Championship Title Event)
